From an early age he enjoyed the simple things in life, like catching a big fish off the pier, listening to his favorite bands which were old school bands like the Rolling stones, Leonard Skynyrd, and the Beatles. His favorite colors (not in any order) Blue, Red, White and Orange. One of his fondest childhood memories, was going to the movie theaters. Back then you could get a movie, a soda and a hot dog for 50 cents. All this for much less than one small soda nowadays. One thing that never changed was what made him smile: his family.
He was incredibly proud of his family, with some of his greatest moments being the births of his children and grandchildren. Those moments brought him a joy and pride that words could hardly express. He cherished watching his children grow up and seeing his family continue to grow through the years.
Some of Fernandos favorite memories were made at Astros and Oilers games, enjoying concerts with his wife, and spending time surrounded by his loved ones. Whether he was casting a fishing line, tending to the barbecue, cheering from the stands, or simply sitting with his family, he found happiness in the simple moments. For him, life was about family, making memories, and appreciating every moment along the way.
From the beginning of his career, Fernando’s ambition was simple: to be the best at what he did and to take pride in his work. He spent more than 40 years in the dental industry as a dental technician, where he found great fulfillment in helping people smile again. Knowing that his work could restore someone’s confidence and happiness brought him a genuine sense of joy and purpose.
One of Fernando’s proudest accomplishments was his dedication to his career and the industry he devoted more than four decades to. After years of hard work, commitment, and perseverance, he was finally able to retire and enjoy the reward he had worked so hard for: spending his days surrounded by his family.
And, of course, Fernando had a few accomplishments that were a little more unconventional. One of his most memorable achievements was buying the most lottery tickets in a single day—a story that perfectly captured his fun-loving personality and his ability to enjoy life to the fullest.
Fernando is preceded in death by Juanita Guerrero, Oemterio Guerrero, Fernando Cisneros SR., Delores Guerrero, Jesse Guerrero, Benny Cavazos, and Dorothy Ann Cisneros.
Fernando is survived by Delores Postel, Janie Rios, Freddy Cavazos, Gloria Cisneros, Mike Cruz Cisneros, Patricia Ann Cisneros, Brenda Cisneros, Margie Cisneros, Avalene Cisneros, and Vanessa Cisneros.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022, US, on August 17, 2026, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
