I had so many memories of my Tio, as a kid. He always had so much patience with us, especially when he would take us to visit our family in Mexico. He would take us on the bus, (20+ hours) and never got impatient with us. He loved cooking and made everyone feel so welcome. I remember when the Rockets won the championship, and he took a huge champagne prop to the corner, and has everyone honking to celebrate. We will miss you Tio.

My favorite memory from all memories with him is when he danced with me at Mexico. It was at a quinceañera. The videographer was recording us for a long time because they enjoyed watching us dance so much. I really enjoyed dancing with my father in law. It was the most precious moment I had with him. I will miss his voice, presence, advice and jokes. He was always a joy to have around. You will be missed suegrito.

Father-in-law, you are the kindest and most caring person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I shall cherish all the long talks, laughs and advise you gave to me. Your granddaughters will carry your name! What I wouldn't do for one last phone call from you. I love you and just know, I promise to always take care of your boy! May you rest in peace! I miss you very much.
