Florinda Rodriguez

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 10, 2015. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family that loved her very much.

Born on October 24, 1928 in Eagle Lake, Texas. Daughter to late Willie and Maria Gonzales. She was the second to oldest of 9 children, dedicated homemaker who loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, and spending time with her family. She was praised for her tamales, bunuelos, menudo, and many more wonderful dishes that she prepared. She loved preparing the family's thanksgiving meal every year and serving her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 54 years of marriage Andrew Rodriguez, 5 children; Gloria, John, Jesse, Lupe, and Tony, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 4 siblings; Anita, Felix, Ernest, and Adolph and many more extended family members.

Services will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Funeral Home located at 6330 Gulf Freeway, Houston, TX 77023

Viewing will be on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm: Rosary will start at 7:00 pm.

Service will be on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow at 11:45 held at Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery located at

8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505.
