Floyd Wayne Phillips, 79, of Spring, Texas passed into eternal rest on March 1, 2020. He was born in Galveston, Texas on September 9, 1940. Wayne graduated from Woodrow Wilson Adult High School. He married Beverly Phillips on May 14, 1960. Wayne worked in the oil industry for Reed Tool Company. He had a passion for dogs and crocheting.
Left to cherish his memories are children Debra Brantner and Renee O'Neal, grandchildren Morgan, Haylie and Mackenzie O'Neal, Jared Brantner, brothers Roger, Michael and Larry Phillips.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral will be on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park. Please join the family for a reception after the interment in the Grand Reception Hall inside Brookside Funeral Home.
