Francella Jiarra Uy Delgado, age 12, peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Cella, as what everybody called her, fulfilled her promise to her mom that she will try to reach her birthday, which was on the same day that she died. She was in the comfort of her family when she passed. She was born on July 11, 2009.
Cella was surrounded by family and friends who loved her dearly. They have been praying for miracles and healing for her since February 8, 2016. It was a battle in which she had bravely fought for 1,978 days. She may have succumbed to her illness, but she will always be the Princess Warrior Champion for everyone who knew her. Her faith in God brought her so much courage and she never wavered until the end. She served His church, Iglesia ni Cristo, as a Choir member for the Children's Worship Service (CWS). A devotion she made in which no headache nor seizure can stop her from singing for our God. She was a huge inspiration to everyone around her. She loves dancing, singing and doing artwork. She also loved sneakers. Watching movies, cooking and baking where her favorite things to do in our house.
She was a very loving daughter, a sweet sister, and a good friend. She took care of everyone and she never made everyone felt that she was a burden to carry. She never saw herself as a sick girl who cries whenever she gets hurt from a needle stick or a major surgery. Like any other girls her age, she was responsible and will carry out house chores even when she was not told. She brought so much happiness, love, faith and hope to her home. She will be sorely missed and her voice, laughter, and giggles will forever echo in everyone's heart. She will be remembered as the brave and courageous dancing Princess. She will never be forgotten. All who got the opportunity to meet Cella will miss her dearly.
