Frances Catherine Daly

Frances R. Daly, 86, of Lake Jackson, TX, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020. She was born on November 30, 1934 in Delcambre, LA to Felix Ambrose and Neda Sonnier Rodriguez. After moving to Brazoria at the age of 2, she was a lifelong resident of Brazoria County.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Ralph E. Daly. Frances met Ralph when they were working at Dow Chemical Company. She loved telling the story of how they met in a carpool and she knew Ralph was “the one”. They had their first date on Valentine’s Day and married in June of the same year. Frances was a stay-at-home mother to their daughters whom she taught her love of baking, cooking delicious Cajun food and fashion.

Survived by her daughters Camille Glass (Scott), Melissa Reuscher (Mike), and Angela Forte (Mike). Grandchildren Cameron Glass (Diana), Connor Glass, Carly Glass, Evan Reuscher, Conrad Reuscher, Nicolas Forte (Alexis), Hunter Forte, great granddaughters Raegan and Ruby Glass and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on January 7, 2021 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX.
