

Frances Josephine Del Toro a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother,sister, and friend, passed on September 27, 2026, at the age of 84. Frances Josephine Del Toro was born on September 3, 1942, and was a resident of Wimberley, Texas. Frances was the cherished daughter of Carlos Herrera and Clara Rodriguez.
Frances was a woman of remarkable wit, compassion, and beauty, both inside and out. She lived her life with an unwavering dedication to her family, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her gracious spirit and considerate nature touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Frances had a special fondness for family gatherings, where her warmth and kindness would light up the room, bringing everyone closer together.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert J. Del Toro and great grand daughter Addison Gibson with whom she shared a life filled with love and cherished memories. Frances is survived by her loving children, Christine Hanner and Robert Del Toro, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Heather Del Toro, Jamie Lopez, Tommy Murphy, and Jessica Del Toro, and great grandmother to Aiden Gibson, Addison Gibson, Jaxson Lopez, Julia Lopez, Tanner Jo Murphy and Max Fresquez. which brought joy to her life.
Frances also leaves behind her dear siblings, Robert Rodriguez, Esther Cortina, Victor Rodriguez, and Mark Rodriguez. Daughter-in- law Kathy Del Toro and Son-in-law Doug Hanner a bond, filled with laughter and shared memories, was a testament to the close-knit family she treasured so deeply.
A celebration of Frances's life will be held on October 7, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Forest Park Westheimer. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who attend the service and for the outpouring of prayers and support during this difficult time.
Frances's legacy will live on through the love and kindness she instilled in her family and all who were fortunate to know her. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be a source of inspiration and comfort to those she leaves behind.
