Born on the 9th of November 1915, in Moscow, Texas, she was a graduate of the University of Texas, a member of Second Baptist Church, active in various charity organizations, a successful business woman.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Hebert, and daughter, Cynthia Ann Hebert-Shirley. She is survived by her granddaughter, Sharon Ann Shirley; her grandson W. John Shirley IV and his wife Leticia C. Shirley; and great-granddaughter Leah Bryce Shirley.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six until eight o’clock this evening, Wednesday, the 16th of March, in the Parlor of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
A graveside service, for all to attend, is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 17th of March, at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road in Houston, where Rev. David Drinnon, Associate Pastor at Second Baptist Church, is to officiate. A uniformed steward from Geo. H. Lewis & Sons will be positioned at the cemetery's Westheimer entrance, so as to guide guests to the interment site.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in Frances’ name be directed to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 841125, Dallas, TX, 75284-1125; or to Houston Hospice, 1905 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX, 77030-4123.
