Frances La,Verne Linton

Frances La,Verne Linton,64, was born in Monroe, Louisiana to Robert Jesse Authur Sears and Vergie Louise Cowden Sears. La,Verne passed into eternal rest on May 6, 2017. She was a1972 gradate of M. B. Smiley High School. La,Verne was married to Timmie Linton, Sr. for 45 years. She was a domestic Goddess, taking care of her home and babysitting all her grandchildren, which she loved with all her heart. La,Verne was active in her church, Lakeway Baptist Church. And of course, she loved her "grandsog", Scrappy Doo Brown.

Left to cherish her memories are husband Timmie Linton, Sr.; children: Tanya Brown & Joel, Aimmie Linton-Brennan, Timmie Linton, Jr., Adam Linton & Ambar, Sarah Martinez & Kevin, Patricia Hendon, Cherie Stone & Tim, Joseph Sears (nephew/son) , Nyoka Sears (niece/daughter), Dixie Linton, siblings: George Shirley & Gladys, Mable Ashburn & Michael; brother-in-law Bob Young; grandchildren: Madison Luce, Makayla Luce, Hunter Linton, Fischer Linton, Embar Linton, Brittnee Mills, CJ Mills, Kirsten Stone, Kaitlynn Stone, Caleb Stone, Trinity Stone, Kaylee Stone, Caden Stone, Tori Stone, Erica Trollope, Rikki Ashy, Chloe Martinez; great-grandchildren: Pyper Mills, Ethan Mills. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Judy Young.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral service will be Friday, May 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home with the interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
