Friends will recall Frances’ love of Mexican food. One of her life’s recent highlights was celebrating her 100th birthday, where she wore a full length gown and enjoyed champagne with friends and family.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, the late Howard Rhodes, president of Sporting Goods, Inc.
A memorial mass is to be offered at half-past nine o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 4th of August, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road in Houston, where the Rev. Douglas J. Guthrie, Parochial Vicar, is to serve as the celebrant.
Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception at a venue to be announced during the mass.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions in Frances’ name may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
