One of my favorite memories of Aunt Joan involved her Volvo station wagon. When we were little, she used to let us get in the very back, then she would drive fast, zig-zagging down a long, straight road in an industrial park near our house. It would throw us all over the back of that station wagon and we would laugh and laugh, and beg her to do it again. Which she always did! She was so much fun.
And, she always knew of every out of the way, interesting restaurant in town. Any meal out with her was always an adventure.
Many fond memories. She will be missed.
