Francis "Bonnie" Guajardo, born on May 16, 1940, passed away in League City, Texas, and was a loving and warm spirit who brought joy to everyone around her. She was married to Rolando O. Guajardo (deceased) and leaves behind her daughter, Barbara Monkiewicz, and son, Ben Guajardo (Alicia). Bonnie was also a proud grandmother to eight grandkids and a great-grandmother to nine, with one more on the way!
She is survived by her brother, Joey Palacios, and sister, Sarah Lopez. Sadly, she was predeceased by her son, Rolando Guajardo Jr., and daughter, Brenda S. Flores, who she loved dearly.
Bonnie was known for her delicious cooking, especially her famous tamales. A huge Houston sports fan, she cheered for her Astros, Texans, and Rockets with all her heart. She also loved to travel and had a great time at the casino.
Bonnie’s love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will forever be cherished by her family and friends. She may be gone, but her spirit will always be with us.
A graveside service for Francis will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023.
