On August 1, 1931 was born a lovely bouncing baby boy to Curtis Davis and Willie May Walker, whom they named Frank. Frank attended public school in the Caddo Parish District. He later met and married Irene Summage. To this union seven children were born: Charles, James, Ernestine, Clifford, Frank, Douglas and David. Under the leadership of Reverend Samuel Woods, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church - 2027 Wilburforce, he confessed Christ and was baptized. He remained a faithful member until his health failed and God called him home. Frank leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of sixty-five years; seven children, twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, three sisters, one brother, two sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
