

Frank John Hrozek was born in Cameron, Texas November 15, 1925. He died in his home in Houston May 17, 2015. Frank is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandi; daughters Cindy and Shannon; stepsons Earl and Douglas; sister Bettye; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother and father; sisters Lottie, Vlasta, Elsie, and Shirley; brother Ernest; and daughter Joann.
Frank served his country in WW II with the Merchant Marines. He later worked for and retired from Armour and Company in Houston and then owned and operated Frank’s Barbeque Restaurant in Stafford, Texas. In retirement Frank especially enjoyed his lake house at Lake Limestone, his trips to the Coushatta, and being a loving dog-dad to many four-legged babies.
Family visitation is Friday, 1 pm, at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston 77039. A celebration of life follows at 2 pm, officiated by the Reverend John Thompson who will then conduct the graveside burial service at Brookside, where Frank will await the resurrection and the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
