

Frank Kotar, age 82, passed away in Houston surrounded by family. Born in Passaic, New Jersey, Frank moved to Houston with his family in 1951, at which time he and his sister, Alice, were disappointed to realize they would not get to ride a pony to school.
A member of Plumbers Local Union 68, Frank retired from Way Engineering Ltd. in 2006. Frank was a long-time member of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church and, when at his farm, he attended Christ Church Episcopal in San Augustine, Texas.
Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alice Kotar and his sister, Alice Scales.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sherri; daughter, Cindy Wilson (Jason Mathis) of Houston; son, Edward Kotar (Brenna) of Eugene, Oregon. Grandchildren Christopher, Morgan, and Jeffery Wilson, and Hunter and Wyatt Kotar. Great Grandchildren, Christopher II, Cortland, Christian, Rhyan, and Capri Wilson.
A memorial service is to be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Friday the 6th of December, in the Christ Church Chapel of St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road in Houston. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent reception hall.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to the Spiritual Growth and Pastoral Care Fund, St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road, Houston, Texas 77056.
