

Frankie Mae Haines was born on January 16, 1934 to MC Clemons and Eldora McCullough Clemons in Carmine, TX. Frankie received her formal education through the Fayette County public school system, where she excelled in her studies. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Reverend Henry Haines Jr. for 57 years. This union was blessed with six children. Reverend Haines preceded her in death on September 7, 2008. At an early age Frankie professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined St. Matthews Baptist Church where she was a dedicated member. She later joined Northwest Community Church under the leadership of Pastor Nathan Cooper Sr., in Houston, TX where she served faithfully as the Mother of the Church, Sunday School Teacher, a member of the 60 plus organization & Minister and Deacon Wives committee. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was as beautiful, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. Frankie quietly departed this life Tuesday, April 15, 2019 at West Houston Medical Center in Houston, Texas. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband two children Carol Thomas & Phillip Haines, Brothers Odell Clemons, Melvin Clemons, Farris Clemons, Sisters, Mattie Davis, Carrie Lee Smith, & Thelma Marie Moore. Frankie was a devoted Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Teacher & Friend. She helped to raise her siblings, 6 children and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In her leisure time she loved working in the church, teaching Sunday School, having family cook outs, and organizing family functions. She enjoyed helping others, spending time with her family & friends out on the front porch with a cup of coffee. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children Helen Brown (Richard Sr.), Milton Haines, Harold Haines, Frankie Aikens. Brother, Lonnie Curtis Clemons(Gloria), Sisters, Joyce Robertson, Pearlie Jean Simmons(Earnest), Marcene Weaks (Robert), Janice Brown, Eleven Grandchildren, Sonya Pruneda(Freddie), Carlotta Johnson(Gerald), Lisa Brown(Cornelius Sr.), Christopher Haines (Dana), Rochelle Johnson, Richard Brown Jr., Latisha Haines, Rachel Thomas, Margaret Collins(Kenneth II), Henry Brown Sr.(Rachel), Phillip Haines Jr. Twenty-one Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other living relatives and friends.
