He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Barbara. He is survived by his daughter Denise Armet, his stepson Frank Matthews; son-in-law Dale Armet, daughter-in-law, Lydia Matthews; 5 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. He was born August 31,1929 in Whitehouse, Texas. Freddie was a Navy vet and retired from Entex/United Gas after 40 years. He owned and operated a successful landscaping company, F&S for many years. He was an avid football (Oilers), Nascar and fishing fan. He loved his cocker spaniels, working in his garage and spending time with his family.
