Garry Hardee Gillan, age 77, of Kingwood, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Beloved by his wife, Gail, and his son, Logan, as well as other family and friends, we want to celebrate his life as we grieve his loss.
To know Garry is to know, not just what he did, but who he was. He was warm and funny, smart and giving, liked and loved. His greatest recent joy was to watch his son give praise to God as part of the Praise Band. He will be missed. As has been said, the deeper the love the harder the loss. May he be at peace with the angels who have gone before.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 27, at 3:00 p.m., at Strawbridge United Methodist Church, 5629 Kingwood Drive, Kingwood TX 77345. A small reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to make a contribution to the church.
