Gary Richard Diamond passed away on Monday, the 29th of February 2016, after a lengthy battle with leukemia. He was 76.
Born on the 14th of January 1940, to Del Diamond and Virginia Coverly Diamond in Kansas City, Kansas, Gary graduated with a BS in Accounting at the University of Denver, and spent his career in the oil industry as a Land Manager.
On the 23rd of June 1962 he married Barbara Barnum with whom he spent 49 years until her passing in 2011. They had two children, Sherry Lyn Diamond and David Eric Diamond who survive them. Gary also has a brother, Dennis C. Diamond, and sister-in-law Patricia Diamond who currently reside in Fort Worth.
A memorial service in celebration of Gary’s life is to be conducted at half-past eleven o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 8th of March, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent grand foyer.
