Gary Leon Dickerson

In 1989, Gary met Tracy Runnells in South Bend, IN, beginning a relationship that would become a steady and cherished part of his life. They were married on September 26, 2009. Gary was preceded in death by his son, Gary Dickerson, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Dickerson; his sons, Ronald Hammond (Ashley) and James Dickerson (Hannah); his best friend and brother-in-law, Don Runnells; and his siblings, Sheri Keeler (Kevin), Donna Dickerson, Shawn Seward, Tony Dickerson, Gayle Dickerson, and Debra Dickerson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews, and a close family friend, Tommy Default.

Beloved by those who knew him best, Gary’s life was anchored in devotion to his family—especially his grandchildren, who were a source of deep pride and joy. He also found quiet contentment in fishing and held a lasting interest in astrology, pursuits that reflected the personal rhythms and reflections that shaped his days.
