Gavin Khiem Tran of Houston, Texas was taken from us on Friday, May 5, 2023 after only living 19 short years of his life. He was born September 8, 2003 in St. Louis, Missouri to James and Diana Tran, and became a loving big brother a year later, to Aidan which he loved deeply. Gavin was a strong, determined man who defeated odds and chose on his own to rise up and achieve goals he never believed he could.
He put himself through real estate school, receiving his state and national licensees and was excited about getting into land brokerage while staying invested in the markets.
He enjoyed boxing with Rocky, biking around Houston with the HoodRatz, and lived life hard and to the fullest.
He had a bond with his mother like no other and loved his brother so deeply he would do anything for him even give his life without question. He was hard on the outside, yet had the biggest and the most beautiful soul from God. His smile would light up any room and you could feel his spirit anywhere. As a child, he was called "Lil 'G". As he grew older he gave himself the name "G" which everyone knew him by.
He is survived by his father, James Tran; Mother, Diana Barbier-Tran; brother, Aidan Tran; paternal grandma, Hong Tran; maternal grandparents, Richard and Brenda Barbier, great grandmother, Maxine L Curole; He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
