It hurts having to find this. I was a student of hers through Kindergarten and First Grade. She did a lot for me. She was excessively patient and kind to me when I needed it the most. 
Thank you for everything. You were a great teacher. I'll always remember that.

Friends might drift apart in contact, but the heart connection remains. Gayle was my roommate through 4 years of college, my best friend who shared her parents with me, and always a smile.  Never forgotten.  Watch over us.

Have thought about you a lot in this last year; so sorry I hadn't reconnected before you were gone.  Keeping up with the family on Facebook. Will keep my old memories forever!!

I am so sorry I didn't receive the message in time to let you know I remembered our great times together. Though we only connected at Christmas and at the births and weddings of our children, I will always remember you as a wonderful friend. I will miss you, Gayle.

Gayle always did seem to be the first to accomplish things!  Now, she is the first of the 'fab four' (Gayle, Lenna, "Egg" and Betsy) original high school buddies to get to heaven. She lit up our world with her humor and smile!

I have so many fond memories of Gayle and her whole family! I remember the day we moved in next door. I was only 4 years old but I remember, vividly, standing in the driveway meeting Gayle and the whole family.  I remember riding around in the back of the white (and the tan) station wagon. I remember meals around the kitchen table and movies in the living room. I remember seeing Gayle and Ron all dressed up for all types of occasions and always thinking how fun that was. I remember chatting about teaching kindergarten and cutting lamination.  And, one of my all time favorite memories was the quick trip we made up to Austin. It was one of my all time favorite little getaways. I don't even remember why we all went, but I had so much fun and so many laughs on that trip. After 32 years living "next door" to Gayle and the Orlowskis, I think my memories could go on and on forever. I was (my whole family was) lucky to have known Gayle. The whole family is in my thoughts and prayers. Love you all.

Gayle touched so many lives with her beautiful smile and her warm, kind personality.  She will truly be missed by everyone who knew her.  To Ron, Amy, Michael, Jennifer and Amy, may you find peace in knowing you were the lights of her life.

When I first joined the Fiest Elementary family, she was so kind and supportive. I will always remember her funny laugh and her keen sense of humor. She touched all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

I'm very sad to hear the news about such a wonderful lady, teacher, and mother. My daughter had the GREATEST start to her education at Fiest with Mrs. Orlowski as her teacher. She will be missed by all she touched !
