To Gene's Family,

I am so sorry for your loss.  Gene and I "met" 10 years ago over the phone when I was hired by Associated Services.  Both of us were at home making calls, Gene in Houston and me in San Antonio.  We had so many hilarious conversations over the years.   I am really going to miss him.

He spoke about his family often, and I almost feel like I know all of you, too.  I was really touched by how much he enjoyed having his grandson with him those summers when his grandson was too old for day care but not quite old enough to be home all day by himself.

He was one of a kind and won't be forgotten.

Bud and I are so very sorry for the loss of your Dad.  It was such a shock and Bud is so upset. There are so many memories that he recalled about his boyhood friend, experiences that he will never forget. Please know that we will be thinking of you and your Dad's family and keeping you all in our prayers.

Gene my neighbor for 28 years. You will be missed, always asking how my family is doing always wondering if you should sell your house and move away to the country. Well my friend you don't have to worry anymore you are in a good place now. Our sympathy to your family.

We met in 1985 and have been good friends and co-workers ever since. You in Houston and me in Dallas, we compared many notes and shared many fun stories over the years. I will miss you.

I am sincerely sorry for your loss. 
Gene was a co-worker @ Associated Services and he never failed to make me smile. I would always tell him "how lucky am I that I get to talk to Gene today" and he laugh and say he was the lucky one. My dad worked there with us for a couple years as well and when he passed Gene had great words for me. 
That Gene was a great man and he will be very much missed.

Gene, we worked together many years. You always made us laugh with your great sense of humor! You were the king of call-out reports. You will be missed very much and never forgotten! My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

I've known you since I was a little girl and worked with you for many years. I will remember you for always being in a good mood and making me laugh. I loved talking about sports with you. You will be missed.

Pam and I are so sorry for your loss.  Your dad was a good man, and he along with your mom have given you the fortitude we all see in you both.  My Dad took the news about your father hard.  They logged a lot of time together as boys, and that bond is always there and strong.  Just like it is for you both and me.  We may not see each other for a year or more, but when we do, we can pick up right where we left off.  That's solid friendship.  Pam and I have both of you in our prayers!

Gene, you were a great friend and we worked together for so many years. I will always remember the good times we had together. I remember when you and Cheryl got married in Vegas the fun we had over the years. You were always someone I could count on. Wish I could have lunch with you just one more time. Will see you on the other side.

Dad you were such a wonderful father and friend. We have so many great memories that I will always cherish. I know my love of sports definitely came from you!!
You always lived life to the fullest which is what everyone loved most about you. You made people laugh and smile wherever you went.  
I am so blessed to have been able to spend most of my adult life living in Houston where we could get together so often.  I will miss you greatly and think of you every day.  I love you Dad.

I will miss Gene very much. He was one of a kind and always made me laugh. I am glad I knew him and was lucky enough to have worked along side him for many years.

Thank you Dad for all the great memories. As a child I remember spending weekends with you filled with swimming, putt putt, bowling, movies and will never forget all the times you took me to Astroworld.  Thank you for that beautiful pink Huffy bike that I will always remember as the best Christmas gift under Grandma Stowers' tree. You were a great father and always provided for me and my sister.  I Love You and will miss you greatly!
