I still find hard to believe that you’re gone , I just learnt that you passed away almost 2 months ago and I’m so so devastated, I’ve known you since high school … since I was a freshman, to know you was to love you , you were literally such an amazing person and a friend , one of the most peaceful , unproblematic person I’ve met , you were so kind , caring and beautiful… it’s so sad your last message to me was congratulating me , I wish I can see you one more time , hug you and remind you of how much you’re so loved , I still don’t understand how you died or why you died but I hope you’re resting peacefully with God , I love you so so much Genevieve.

I sent this to her on her birthday, because the video was one of those fun nights out dancing to African music with friends. I will forever miss doing these things with her.

It was always fun going out and having fun with friends and she was one of the goofy ones. I remember us laughing together because she unintentionally bumped into someone while dancing.

To Nella’s family, my condolences. I may not know how you're feeling but I know what it feels like to lose someone important and she was one of the people that were important to me that I have lost in my heart. My heart aches a lot when I know she's not here with us anymore. She was like family to me and my friends. We had our own Little African family going on and we now lost one of us. I know she's up there in heaven and I hope she's at peace up in God the almighties home where we shall meet one day.

Hello my name is Sulayman Kromah. I’m still shocked and I still don’t believe she passed. I don’t know why, but I still believe she’s alive. I don’t want to believe she actually gone which I will never. I’m her bestfriend since she moved to Fort Lewis. We were so close, which made many people assumed we were dating. She was like a sister to me, tell me all her secrets and personal issues. We have so much videos and pics together. It’s took me this long to respond because I didn’t know how to react to the news of her passed. My condolences to the family in Texas and especially to her mom.
