Mexico, George later became a proud U.S. citizen. He pursued his education at vocational
schools and the University of Houston, where he obtained his training as a Principal
Civil/Structural Designer.
George was married to Naxhieli Toledo Tepepa, with whom he shared three children:
Alberto, Valeria, and Natalia Ariza. His children cherished the special moments with him,
whether it was going to work with their dad, watching movies, or simply spending time
together. He always wanted the best for his family.
In his childhood, George took on the role of caretaker for all his siblings, with a special
focus on looking after the youngest among them. His nurturing nature was evident early on
and continued throughout his life.
George had an exceptional love for food, especially homemade "memelitas," a Mexican
dish close to his heart. He never forgot tacos and added spice to everything he ate. Known
for being a foodie in his own way, George would drive all over Houston to find the best
restaurants to share with his children. He also loved to cook his mother’s recipes, bringing
the flavors of home into his own kitchen. In addition to his love for food, George had a
passion for science fiction, particularly Star Wars. He enjoyed collecting memorabilia and
watching the movies with enthusiasm. His extensive music collection reflected his deep
appreciation for different genres, which brought him joy and comfort. Though he lived a
troubled life, prior to his decline, he always helped those in need without hesitation. He
took great pride in his work and embraced it with a sense of responsibility and
commitment.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Naxhieli Ariza, and his children, G. Alberto Ariza, Valeria Ariza,
and Natalia Ariza. His parents-Pedro and Alicia Ariza; his sisters Miriam Lagunes, Alicia
