George B. Fitzgerald

George B. Fitzgerald, 91, passed away on June 11, 2012. He was born in Winchell, TX to Lee and Bertha Fitzgerald. George was a lifetime member and former commander of the American Legion post 560 and a 32nd Degree Mason at the Masonic Lodge #1151. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and was a member of the VFW and Shriners.

George is preceded in death by his son, G.B. Fitzgerald. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Vivian E. Fitzgerald; sister, Mary Rudd and grandson, Jason.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, June 15, at Pat H. Foley & Company. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 16, in the chapel of Pat H. Foley & Company. George will be laid to rest at 12:30pm in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, 77079.
