

George Fleming, Jr. was the youngest child of the late Mary Jane Lewis and George Fleming, Sr.
He was born on February 12, 1942 in Natchez, LA. George began his Christian life at an early age and was baptised in Natchez, LA at Morning Star Baptist. He graduated from Natchez High School.
After relocating to Houston, he was baptized by Rev. Ronald Crawford and received the Holy Ghost in 1971. In 1976, he met and fell in love with his Lee, Ethel Neotha Shaw and they were married in August 11, 1977.
George worked construction for 30 years for Lem Construction. After retiring, he dedicated the remainder of his life to serving the Lord. He served as a deacon, a minister, and a bishop at the Storehouse of Prayer Church of Deliverance. After 30 years of faithful service, the Lord called him home.
George is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, John and Hubert Thompson and his daughter, Debbie Marie Fleming. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Ethel Neotha Shaw Fleming, four sons, Joseph, Christopher, Jhasheime and Isaiah Fleming, all of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
