George Edward Fletcher

His parents, Ernest Oscar and Mollie Viola Fletcher preceded him in death.

George and Ruth had 5 kids – Doug (Debbie), Robert (Melissa), Mike, Beth and Steve along with 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Wanda (Robert) Tubbs and sister-in-law, Willie (Bobby) Getschmann and Jolene Best. George ‘s other siblings, Ray, Paul, Knowlas and Baby Girl Fletcher are also deceased. He was loved by many other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.

George retired from Central Freight Lines after 34 years. He was a hard-working man who loved all he knew. He enjoyed retirement with his love of “antiquing”, woodworking and working in the yard. He was known for being generous, kind and honest.

George loved God and his family. May he rest in the peace of the Lord.
