George Thomas Lambert

Tom was born on December 24, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to Dolores and George Lambert, and was raised in San Antonio, Texas. A graduate of the University of Houston, he enjoyed a successful career in the printing and graphic arts industry before becoming a realtor.

Tom was a very proud and active alumnus of the University of Houston. He served as Homecoming Chair, President of the College of Business Alumni Association and as President of the University of Houston Alumni Association.

He also served as the President of the East Fort Bend County Kiwanis Club.

Tom is preceded in death by his father, George, and his daughter, Carrie.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Peggy; daughter, Laura; son, Greg; and son, John and his wife Allison; three grandchildren, Morgan, Brady and Rhett; mother Dolores; brother John and his wife Terrie; sister Karen Richardson; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Cecilia’s Catholic Community, 11702 Joan of Arc, Houston, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Houston Scholarship Fund.
