George "Jorge" F. Suarez, 66, entered into eternal rest on March 12, 2015. George was a loving father and devoted husband. Prior to being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at 40 years old, George provided for his family honorably as a truck driver in the Houston area. Despite his diagnosis, George overcame great obstacles and desired above all to care for his children. George was a fighter who endured a tragic 26-year battle with a debilitating disease. He taught his kids how to drive, and always greeted everyone with a smile. His love for his wife, Felicia, knew no bounds. He refused to give up on their love and remained happily married for 38 years. If a man can be measured by the dignity and respect he had for his family, then George Suarez truly was an honorable man who made everyone who loved him proud. It cannot be understated how great of a dad, husband, and grandfather he was. May he rest in peace, unabound with the ability to run freely in the kingdom of heaven with ideal and spectacular grace.
George is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Felicia Suarez; his sons: George, Jr., Jesse and wife Crystal, Daniel and wife Angie, and Mark and wife Megan; his daughters: Maria Leticia Garcia and husband Jose, and Cynthia; numerous grandchildren; and sister, Maria Isabel.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Hipolito & Bruna Suarez; brother, Pedro Suarez; and sister, Rosario Suarez.
