He met and married Rosie Lee Cole and they had a son George Lee Thomas, Jr. They moved to Houston, Texas and had a daughter Rosanda Renee Thomas. Later, he and Rosie parted ways, he continued his career as a Receiving Manager at Lewis Food Town, and retired in 2018.
George leaves behind 6 grandchildren Ashley Thomas, Alexus Thomas, Mario Thomas, Malik Thomas, Tamia Thomas, Tae’lor Thomas and a host of siblings and cousins.
