George "Sonny" Webb

George “Sonny” Louis Webb, 74 years old, a resident of Cypress, Texas, peacefully departed life on August 26th, 2024, to be with his Lord. He was born on September 10th, 1949 in Crockett, Texas. He was the first son of Betty Cook Webb and George Louis Webb.

Sonny found joy in being around the people he loved, especially his family and pets. He was always the life of the party and could put a smile on everyone’s faces. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, cooking, sitting under the palapa, and anything he could do outside.

As a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son-in-law, Sonny’s love had no bounds. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Betty Webb and brothers Jonathan “Bubba" and Ray Webb. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Sandra Webb, his sister Betty Shindler, brother Randy Webb, his children Brooke Jones and husband Dale, Garrett Capellen and wife Amy, Chase Capellen and wife Jennifer; as well as his grandchildren Ashlyn Jones, Addison Jones, Hunter Capellen, Haley Jo Capellen, Emorie Capellen, Whitley Capellen, Brooklyn Ballard, Brieann Ballard, and Brady Ballard.

Pallbearers include Kirby Loid, Dale Jones, Garrett Capellen, Chase Capellen, Caden Martin, Brady Ballard, and honorary pallbearer Hunter Capellen.

A visitation for George will be held Friday, August 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Creek, 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, TX 77095. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Brookside Cypress Creek.
