He retired from Brown Oil Tools, Inc. and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Elks Lodge 151, a Lifetime member of the Houston Farm & Ranch Club and Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. George was a 32 Degree Mason and member of Holland Lodge No. 1.
George is survived by his loving wife Margaret and children Jann Williford, Diane Williford and Lewis Williford & wife Dana and family as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank those friends and caregivers who so generously gave of themselves over the past months and a special thank you to the gracious staff at University Place.
Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 in the Memorial Mission Mausoleum Chapel at Forest Park Westheimer. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or charity of your choice .
