

Georgia Cooley, an 81- year- old dedicated homemaker and faithful servant of Jehovah, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026. Born on September 08,1944 ,she lived a life defined by deep love for her family and her unwavering faith.
Georgia dedicated her life to two great loves:her family and her ministry. As dedicated homemaker, she built a sanctuary of love, warmth, and hospitality for her household.
Georgia drew immense comfort from the scriptures, firmly anchoring her hope in the Bible's promises.Her favorite passages include Psalms 37: 10-11, which speaks of a time when the wicked will be no more and the meek will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace , and Revelation 21:3-4, which comforted her with the beautiful promise that God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death, mourning, and pain will be no more.
This strong faith in Jehovah and her firm belief in a future earthly paradise brought her great joy throughout her entire life. Her gentle nature, spiritual legacy, and deep conviction will never be forgotten by those who loved her.
Georgia was Preceded in death by her parents, Lenora Shaw- mother George Shaw-Father, and her daughters, Gwenevera Cooley and Janet D. Cooley. She is survived by her husband of 63 years of marriage, Genora Cooley, her youngest daughter Valarie Cooley, her son Raymond Cooley, her sisters Mamie Kay( Richton, Ms) and Janie D. Harris(Gardena, Ca)
She also leave behind a large community of spiritual brothers and sisters who will miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 1pm Brookside Funeral Home, located at 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039
