Gerald Francis Mascis

Gerald Francis Mascis (Jerry ), 74, of Hoboken New Jersey, passed away on January 7th, 2021 in Houston Texas.

Jerry was born in Hoboken N.J. to Frank and Mary Mascis on January 1st, 1947. He went to school in Hoboken. Jerry graduated Cum Laude from New York Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jerry married Sonia Beltran on February 13th 1983 in Long Island N.Y. He worked in Engineering field for over 45 years most of his career as a Piping Material Control Manager for several EPC Engineering firms.

Jerry was very involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation helping raise thousands of dollars for many years.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Mascis.

Jerry is survived by his wife Sonia Mascis, his daughters and spouses Meredith and Christopher Fitzpatrick, Kimberly Mascis and Katy Garvey, his sisters and brothers In-Law Carmenza Camargo, Gerardo and Edilma Jimenez, Theresa Beltran, Gladys and Carlos Cifuentes, George and Maritza Beltran and Helen and Bill Hoffman. His sister and husband Rosemary and Vincent Giglio. Nieces and nephews, Paul, Lenny, Steven, Gerry, Tatiana, Viviana, Lucas, Samantha, Janine, Cindy, Jessica, Kaysee, Gabby, Bill, Michelle and Kristen and many grandnieces and grandnephews.

The family of Jerry wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at The Tradition on Buffalo Speedway for their support and loving care for Jerry special thanks to Shay Klopf, Sarah Stoma, Bianca Harris, Kim, Jennifer and everyone who cared for him. Also, special thanks Dana Herbert the hospice nurse.
