After being diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, German fought with unwavering courage and grace. He worked for many years with Harris County Vehicle Maintenance, where he was known for his work ethic, kindness and commitment to others. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and compassion that lives on in all of us.
German was the proud and loving father to his surviving children: German Ayala Jr. (Janie Ayala), Leticia Ayala (Jesus Eulojio Castillo), and Jose Angel Ayala.
He was also a cherished grandfather to: Adrian Ayala (Diana Alejandra Ayala), Noah Ayala, Reanna Elizabeth Ayala, Jessica Savannah Castillo, Jose Angel Ayala Jr., Julian Ayala; and the most amazing great grandfather to: Titan Leon Castillo and Athena Irene Castillo.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Captain Jesus Felix Eulojio Castillo.
The song of German’s life was beautiful, and its melody will echo in our hearts forever.
