I just received the news about the passing of Gervais. We were both employed by Conoco  and what wonderful times we had together. I will miss him!

Straker Family - Although we have not seen Sonny for a few years, I must say that I always enjoyed the hours we spent together standing way down the baselines and watching the girls play ball.  Could call a pitch from 90 feet better than most of the guys behind the plate.

We are all saddened by the loss of Sonny.  He was truly a great, kind man.  He and Martha always treated my children like they were their own grandchildren, and for that I will always be grateful!  Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Straker family at this time.

GW, Joni and Kids:  Sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one.  He is at peace and may you draw comfort in knowing that.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

So sorry to hear of Sonny's passing.  He was such a fine man - a man of integrity, compassion and generosity - and the best "Umpire" ever!.  He cannot be replaced and will be missed by all, but most of all he will be missed by his family.  One memory we have was Sonny's love of Country Music and especially Ray Price.
