

Gilberto Agusto Beltran “Papa” was born on May 31, 1931, in Brownsville Texas. At the age of 10 he was moved to Linares Nuevo Leon, Mexico in a small town called Maguiras. There he was raised by his grandparents. He was part of a humble family of 3 brothers and 1 sister.
He had a 3rd grade education, but was a hard worker and a good provider always leading by example. At the age of 24 He married his wife Leocadia Lopez Beltran and raised two of his infant brother-in laws and two of his infant brothers, and took care of his mother.
He raised his six children to work hard and always do what was right, and never to give up. He blessed his boys teaching them the trade of home builder and remodeling. He became a single father at the age of 49. His motivation and love was his greatest gift to his children. He was well known for his positive happy personality and compassion for others. He did not value things, he valued people, and would help anyone in need. Many times opening his home to those in need.
He is preceded in death by his beloved son Gustavo Beltran. He leaves in God’s care his Children; Cristina Santiago, Gilberto Beltran, Enrique Beltran, Gloria Araujo and Alfonso Beltran. Also his joy of 20 Grandchildren; Jose Gilberto Beltran, Gilberto Beltran, Eduardo Beltran, Andres Beltran, Miguel Beltran, Gilberto Agusto Beltran, Manuel Santiago Jr., Betty Garcia, Oscar Santiago, Joel Santiago, Gustavo Beltran, Carlos Beltran, Angelica Beltran, Araceli Beltran, Luis Beltran, Jaime Gonzalez, Nancy Gonzales, Kassandra Beltran, Vanessa Beltran, Alfonso Beltran Jr., 23 Great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.
