Gladys "Berniece" Bratton, age 75, of Spring, Texas passed into eternal rest on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Berniece was born March 24, 1945 in Houston, Texas. She grew up in the Heights and graduated from Reagan High School; then went on to study at the University of Houston for a year. Berniece was a letter carrier for the U.S. Post Office for 27 years. She was a member of Spring Baptist Church and the Bread of Life Life Group, as well as, a member of the Singing Hearts Choir. Painting, reading, playing dominoes, cooking, and spending time with family and friends were her passions. We would like to thank Dr. Mohsen Arani with Millennium Physicians Oncology for his excellent care of "Berniece."
Berniece was preceded in death by her parents Hubert Heflin and Dimple Heflin, son Jeff Bratton and granddaughter Mikayla Rossiter. Left to cherish her memories are: husband Billy Bratton, daughter Pam Rossiter and her husband Chip, grandchildren: Jeff, Brad, and Emma Rossiter; sisters Rose Mary Gibbs and her husband Jerry, Janet Benavides and her husband Mark, brothers David Heflin and his wife Jeanne, Keith Heflin, and many nieces and nephews.
