

Gladys Katherine (Kathy) Moise-Gloster died on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at age 53. She was born on April 27, 1963 and is survived by her son, Logan Jacob Gloster, her mother Natalie Moise and brothers Neville Moise, Jr. and David Moise and niece Taylor and nephew Myles Moise - also by aunts Nancy and Mary Moise, Dianne Lero and uncles Chris and Norman Lero, sister-in-law Cammie Moise and several cousins.
Kathy was a biology teacher at First Colony Middle School for several years. She loved science, nature, animals and anything outdoors. She especially enjoyed camping and snow skiing with Logan in New Mexico and Colorado. She passed on this great love of science to her son who is now studying neuroscience and planning a medical career - what a legacy!! and as she would say - "Logan was her joy". Kathy was also a competitive country western dancer and loved John Denver's music.
Preceding her in death are her father Neville Moise, Sr., her uncles Dr. Leonard Moise and Gordon Moise; grandparents Leonard and Gladys Moise and Antone and Eva Lero.
Visiting/viewing will be on Sunday, October 23 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 13001 Katy Freeway/Eldridge from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 24 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugarland, Texas followed by a reception at the Parish Hall.
Kathy had requested, if desired, donations be made to St. Laurence Church, American Diabetes or the local SPCA.
Most sincere thanks to all the doctors and medical staff that cared for her during the last four years at Ben Taub, St. Joseph's, Hermann Memorial Greater Heights and Christus St. Patrick's. The family is deeply grateful.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 23rd at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 24th at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, Texas 77479.
