After graduating second in her class from Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas, she married Alfred Brown and moved to Houston. Glenda taught typing and accounting at Bellaire High School for more than thirty years. She is survived by Alfred, husband of 65 years; two sons, Tim and Greg; two granddaughters, Brooke and Brette; three great grandchildren, Lawson, Luke, and Lincoln; and one sister, Marci.
A graveside service for Glenda will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
