Glenda Johnston

She is survived by her son, Kevin Vandekamp and wife, Constance, of Dayton; grandchildren, Ashley VandeKamp, of Houston and Justin VandeKamp, of Dayton; step-grandchildren, Joe Harrington, of Dayton, Anthony Harrington and wife Shannon, of Georgia, Heather Lanclos and husband, Dustin, of La Porte; 6 great grandchildren; her sister, Kay Wright, and husband, Bob of Jena, LA; as well as other friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her second husband, Frank Johnston; her first husband, John Eugene VandeKamp; parents, B.E. ‘Tut’ and Myrtle (Keene) Nugent; brothers, Maloy ‘Buster’ and B.E. ‘Ben’ Nugent; sister Faloy ‘Flo” Goens.

She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, keeping up with her soaps, dancing to live music, playing shuffle board, and visiting with her friends and family. She was always there to listen and would never hesitate to tell you like it was. She will truly be missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Crosby Church, 5725 U.S. 90, Crosby, Texas 77532 on May 27th, 2014 at 2pm in the Oasis Room.
