

Allen Glenn Bauguss Jr. who went by Glenn, passed away on the 1st of September, 2024, in Houston, TX at the age of 82. Born on the 10th of April 1942, in Houston, he was a man of vibrant personality, marked by his gregarious and fun-loving nature.
Glenn embarked on an ambitious career path after proudly graduating with honors from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1966. His professional journey included significant roles with Brown & Root such as VP of the Offshore Marine Group thru 1988, leading Bauguss Engineering until 2002, and finally serving as CFO of Martha Turner Properties until his retirement in 2014.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Glenn was deeply connected to his community and faith, actively participating in Christ Presbyterian Church. He also found joy in his lifelong love of sports including playing golf and fishing as well as enjoying Houston Astros baseball, Houston Texans football, and University of Houston football.
Glenn is survived by a loving family that includes his sister, Patsy Bauguss Bailey and her husband, Malcolm Bailey Sr.; his three children, Allen Glenn Bauguss III and his wife, Angie Bauguss, Gayla Bauguss Nizzi and her husband, Mike Nizzi, Clee Bauguss Ferris, and Deasa Turner; along with his grandchildren, Jensen Nizzi Duncan and her husband Trey Duncan, Macyn Michael Nizzi, Kai Lyon, Anaya Ferris, Hana Leigh Ferris, Mariella Ferris, Bailey Jeanne Bauguss, MaryBella Ruth Bauguss, and Turner Hall; and great-grandchildren, Kacie Jeanne Duncan, and Luke Fuller Duncan. Glenn is also survived by nephews and niece, Malcom Bailey Jr., Doug Bailey, Brenda Bailey, and their families. His legacy is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Turner Bauguss, and his parents, Virginia Ruth and Allen Glenn Bauguss Sr.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from eleven o’clock in the morning until one o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 16th of September, in the library and grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
The family will gather for a private entombment in The Texas Liberty Mausoleum at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.
