Gloria Inocencio

Gloria was born in Houston on August 10, 1957 to the late Miguel and Estorgia Garcia. Gloria graduated from Jefferson Davis Senior High School. Gloria married Raul Inocencio on June 10, 1978; they were married for 46 years and were High School sweethearts.

Gloria worked as a Data Entry Clerk for various companies, including the City of Houston Police Department. Gloria became a stay-at-home Mom to take care of her children, and later on, her grandchildren. Gloria enjoyed listening to music, dancing and cooking for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Miguel and Estorgia Garcia and her brother, Miguel Jr.

Gloria is survived by her husband Raul, children Raul Jr. from San Antonio, Jose and Monique from Houston, sister Rosa Madrigal and brother Daniel Garcia from Houston. Gloria is also survived by her grandchildren: Anthony, Joseph, Christian, Angel, Nathan, Julian, Lorenzo, Jaiden, Lailani and Natalia; nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Gloria is also survived by her “adopted” grandchildren, that also called her Nana.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. There will be a Rosary at 7 PM on Tuesday, April 9th. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers are Angel Inocencio, Joseph Inocencio, Jose Inocencio, Raul Inocencio Jr., William Santarita and Nathan Santarita.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Anthony Inocencio, Christian Inocencio, and Leonard Colunga.

The family of Gloria Inocencio wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during Gloria’s hospitalization and her passing.
