She was born on May 5, 1943 in Brownsville, Texas to Federico and Lila Garza. She married Bobby Phears on December 18, 1991 in Houston. She held a variety of positions over the years including being a nurse but her favorite role was being home with her Bobby and Cat Precious. Gloria had a kind heart and was happy with the little things in life including looking at birds, caring after her plants and of course Bobby’s coffee. Gloria is survived by her husband Bobby, her children Frank, Terri, Fred, Mike and Crystal and her siblings Fred, George, Ramiro, Robert, Viola, and Norma. She also had several grandchildren and great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins
Friends and family are welcomed to attend the visitation on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. and the Funeral Service on Friday January 7, 2022 at 10:00 am both to be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo Funeral Home, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, TX 77087. Interment will follow the funeral service at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
