Grace Uribe Juarez

Grace Juarez, 65, died peacefully June 17, 2024. Grace was born to Grace Y. Uribe and Genaro S. Uribe on September 1, 1958 and loved growing up alongside her six siblings in Clayton Homes. She had three kids, Michael, David and Angelica who she loved dearly. Grace devoted over 20 years at HISD as a teachers aid. After retiring, she loved to cook, read and spend time with her grandchildren. Her favorite color was blue and she loved classic rock. Grace was very close to her sisters throughout her life and spent time with them often. In 2018, she moved in with her sister, Irene, who cared for her in her later years. Grace was a unique soul and she will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her Sisters Irma Uribe and Lydia Uribe, Brothers Genaro "Harry" Uribe Jr., Jose U. Valle and Brother-In-Law Pedro Gutierrez. Grace is survived by her husband Arnulfo G. Juarez, her children Michael Mata, David Mata and Angelica Mata, Daughter-In-Law Misty Baker, Siblings, Silvia Ybanez (Jesse Ybanez), Irene Gonzalez (Jesus Gonzalez), Christina Gongora (Gustavo Gongora), Ramon U. Valle, Grandchildren Jessi Rae Zamora, Damian Lopez, Anthony Mata, Devin Mata, Gracie Mata and Great-grandchildren Rick Solis, Zayden Zamora and Amelia Solis along with numerous cousins and nephews.

A visitation for Grace will be held Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A rosary service will occur Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 7:00 pm, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A visitation will occur Friday, June 28, 2024 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A committal service will follow Friday, June 28, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023.
