Grant had a passion for landscaping; he enjoyed working with his plants and cactus.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Leatha Barker; father, Grant Wells Sr.; sister, Jacquline Wells; and stepson, John Thomas Floyd.
Grant is survived by his children, Michelle Williams (Mike), Matthew Wells (Gina), Kristopher Wells (Sandra); grandchildren, Rebecca, Tyler, Steven, Amanda, Tristian, Ashlynn, Abigail, Alexandria, and Emiliano; along with great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Matthew Wells, Kristopher Wells, Mike Williams, Tyler Henley, Tristian Wells and Miguel Quintana.
A visitation for Grant will be held Monday, June 12, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 9:00 AM. A committal service will occur Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 10:15 AM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
