He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Juanita Q. Betancourt; children, Guadalupe Betancourt, Jr. and wife, M. Lupita Betancourt, Gloria Ray and husband, Dennis Ray, Ricardo Betancourt and wife, Donna Betancourt, Ellie O’Connor and husband, Dennis O’Connor, Dennis Betancourt and wife, Dawn Betancourt, Olga Losoya-Suarez and husband, Honorio Suarez, Armando Losoya and wife Helen Losoya, Severiano Losoya; sister, Gregoria Rincon; 26 grandchildren and 60 great and great-granchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Creek, 9149 Highway 6 North in Houston. The funeral service will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, December 9, 2011 in the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Creek.
Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
