Gustav Frederick Peters

Gustav Frederick Peters went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2014, just 3 days after his 98th birthday. He was born is Shive, Texas on May 24, 1916 and was a Houston resident from 1952 thru 2003, when he moved to live with family in Iola/College Station. He retired from Humble Oil Company/Exxon in 1984 after 27+ years of service.

He was preceded to heaven by wife of 34 years, Tillie Anne Peters in 2002 and also by his parents Gustav and Anna Marie Peters; brothers, Carl, Fritz, Otto Peters and sisters, Anna Nord, Ida Carlson, Paula Eisen, Marie Hunter and Frieda Neff.

Gus is survived by sister - Lydia Wagner, daughter - Linda Johnson, son - Raymond Peters , grand-children – Keith Hill, Anna & Fred Johnson and Daniel Peters, step-grandchildren - Deborah, Dennis & Jason Westerman, 6 great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends too numerous to mention.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00PM, Friday, May 30. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 31 at 10:00AM. Both will be held at Pat H. Foley & Co. 1200 West 34th Street, 713-869-6261.
