Back in our Amoco days, Hal always struck me as a man of constant curiosity and he had the skills to overcome the challenges he found in his explorations. A powerful combination.

I have a lot of memories of Hal when I was with Amoco. I worked in the drilling department on my first assignment out of university. He treated me with respect and was a go to person when I needed help. He lived in memorial thicket and we also had a home there in later years. It appears he has an extensive family and I am sure they will miss him.
